I was told recently that the Wallies of stonehenge used to visit the squat and that Phil Russell (Aka Wally Hope )also frequented the squat and also eel pie x I look after his ashbox and am researching his life x
Between 67-74 he may have been known as Mutant Phil .He had a residence in Stoke Poges ,Windsor from which he became involved with the Dwarves and the Pretty Things,the Windsor fests and ultimately Stonehenge.would love to hear from any of you that knew Phil Russell ,Mutant Phil,Wally Hope or any of the other Wallies .a largish tribe x
